Mystic Faerie Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft, text by Barbara Moore

I recently purchased this deck. The reason being it had very good ratings on the Aeclectic Tarot website and is voted as one of the top 10 decks in 2007. I was quite attracted to the cute and nice art work which is shown here.

Mystic Faerie Tarot The Mystic Faerie Tarot is an enchanting faerie tarot painted in watercolours by fantasy artist Linda Ravenscroft. Ornate borders and gold edges surround tarot images of sprites, nymphs, mermaids and faeries, in a charming, pretty and readable new tarot deck.

The majors are very bright and cheerful and however the symbolism of certain cards such as the high priestess and death is not as strong.

Each of the minor arcana numbered cards is telling a story.
The story of swords is about sisters and their love for a blue flower.


The story of wands is about how 2 brothers bring up a baby dragon.
Which was a present from their mother.


The pentacles is about a giving fairy sharing her harvest with creatures of the forests.
The story of cups is about a young mermaid and her husband.
