Odin and winning the runes.(art by Ash Abdullah)

Ever Since i started my journey, To seek the wisdom of the world.

The runes is a journey and something which is not easily won.

the Thought hit me one night, to work with an artist whom i knew well.... Ash abdullah and come up with this scene.tree of life or tree which needs no name.
Its leaves are hot at times and at times not...... like thought and wisdom creative juices flowing.

The runes fly from it in many directions.
Even the all father needs time to reach for them and get it........

Like all the path is not easy and is never easily won.......
I like this painting of odin winning the runes......

Dear Rowen,

I knew right away when you told me about the idea you wanted commissioned, it would not be a journey that is taken in our plane.

Einstein once said,“Problems cannot be solved by the same level of thinking that created them.”

I would imagine a task fit for a God, once such as Odin, cannot possibly be an easy one to overcome.

So I did some research and found that ... "Odin" is generally accepted as the modern English form of the name, although, in some cases, older forms may be used or preferred. His name is related to ōðr, meaning "fury, excitation," besides "mind," or "poetry." His role, like that of many of the Norse gods, is complex. He is considered a principal member of the Æsir (Norse Pantheon) and is associated with wisdom, war, battle, and death, and also magic, poetry, prophecy, victory, and the hunt.

Therefore, I figured a hunt is where he would be at his element... dynamic, empowered, in control.

Hope you like the interpretation of the imagery you wanted.

Ash :)
